UTRGV Academic Calendar Fall 2025

1. Registration for the Fall 2025 term begins at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 31, 2025.
2. Fall 2025 tuition payment is due on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
3. The last day to join a waitlist is Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
4. The last day to withdraw by dropping all classes and receive a 100% refund is Friday, August 29, 2025.
5. UTRGV Fall 2025 move-in day is Friday, August 29, 2025. Vaquero Move-In schedule is from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and New Resident Town hall & Social  move-in schedule is from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
6. The university will observe the Labor Day Holiday on Monday, September 1, 2025.
7. UTRGV Fall 2025 classes begin on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. It is the first day of classes.
8. The last day to add or register for Fall 2025 classes is Sunday, September 7, 2025, according to the UTRGV Academic Calendar 2025-2026.
9. The last day to withdraw by dropping all classes and receive an 80% refund is Monday, September 8, 2025.
10. The last day to withdraw by dropping all classes and receive a 70% refund is Monday, September 15, 2025.
11. Census Day, which is the last day to drop a class without it appearing on the transcript, is Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
12. The last day to withdraw by dropping all classes and receive a 50% refund is Monday, September 22, 2025.
13. The last day to withdraw by dropping all classes and receive a 25% refund is Monday, September 29, 2025.
14. The last day to drop a class with a grade of DR or withdraw with a grade of W is Thursday, November 13, 2025.
15. The university will observe the Thanksgiving Holiday, and no classes will be held from Thursday, November 27, 2025, to Saturday, November 29, 2025.
16. Study Day, when no classes will be held, is Thursday, December 11, 2025.
17. Final examinations will be held from Friday, December 12, 2025, to Thursday, December 18, 2025.
18. Fall 2025 classes officially end, and the last day of the term is Thursday, December 18, 2025, according to the UTRGV Academic Calendar 2025-2026.
19. Fall 2025 Commencement Exercises will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, and Saturday, December 20, 2025.

7. The last day to add or register for Spring 2026 classes is Sunday, January 25, 2026.
8. The last day to withdraw by dropping all classes and receive an 80% refund is Monday, January 26, 2026.
