The University of Toronto’s primary academic year (Fall/Winter session) generally comprises 24 weeks of instruction, delivered across two distinct 12-week semesters or terms: Fall (September to December) and Winter (January to April).

1. Fall/Winter enrollment start times will be posted on ACORN on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
2. Fourth-year students (14.0+ credits) enrollment begins on Monday, July 7, 2025.
3. Third-year students (9.0-13.5 credits) enrollment begins on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.
4. Second-year students (4.0-8.5 credits) enrollment begins on Monday, July 14, 2025.
5. First-year students (<4.0 credits) enrollment begins on Thursday, July 17, 2025.
6. General enrollment opens for Arts & Science students on Friday, July 25, 2025.
7. Non-Arts & Science/non-degree student enrollment begins on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.
8. Cross-campus enrollment opens at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
9. The tuition fee payment/deferral deadline is Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
10. Labour Day (no classes) is Monday, September 1, 2025.
11. F/Y classes begin on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
12. The last day to enroll in F/Y courses is Monday, September 15, 2025.
13. Thanksgiving (no classes) is Monday, October 13, 2025.
14. UofT Reading Week (no classes) runs from Monday, October 27, 2025, to Friday, October 31, 2025.
15. The last day to drop F courses is Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
16. The last day of F/Y classes is Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
17. Final exams for F courses run from Friday, December 5, 2025, to Tuesday, December 23, 2025.
