2. Registration by appointment for selected graduate programs occurs from Wednesday, March 26, 2025, to Friday, March 28, 2025.
3. Registration by appointment for undergraduate programs runs from Monday, March 31, 2025, to Friday, April 11, 2025.
4. Sunday, August 24, 2025, is the last day to disenroll for the fall term without a late registration fee.
5. UMich Fall 2025 classes begin on Monday, August 25, 2025.
6. The assessment of a late registration fee for initial fall term registration begins on Monday, August 25, 2025.
7. Registration and disenrollment fees are assessed to any student who withdraws (drops all classes) from the fall term starting Monday, August 25, 2025.
8. The university observes Labor Day and is closed on Monday, September 1, 2025.
9. Monday, September 8, 2025, is the last day to access web registration for the first seven-week session classes and the drop/add deadline for those classes.
10. After September 8, 2025, all first seven-week session class election changes require approval by the academic unit, and dropped courses will receive a “W” grade with no tuition reduction.
11. September 8, 2025, is also the last day to withdraw from the term (if only taking the first seven-week courses) with assessment of registration and disenrollment fees only.

17. Fall study break takes place on Monday, October 13, 2025, and Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
18. Tuesday, October 28, 2025, is the last day to access web registration for the second seven-week session classes and the drop/add deadline for those classes.
19. After October 28, 2025, all second seven-week session class election changes require approval by the academic unit, and dropped classes will receive a “W” grade with no tuition reduction.

6. The assessment of a late registration fee for initial winter term registration begins on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.
7. Registration and disenrollment fees are assessed to any student who withdraws (drops all classes) from the winter term starting Wednesday, January 7, 2026.
8. The university observes Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with symposia and no regular classes on Monday, January 19, 2026.

18. UMICH Spring Break 2026 begins at noon on Saturday, February 28, 2026, and ends on Sunday, March 8, 2026. Classes resume at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, March 9, 2026.
19. Wednesday, March 11, 2026, is the last day to access web registration for the second seven-week session classes and the drop/add deadline for those classes.
20. After March 11, 2026, all second seven-week session class election changes require approval by the academic unit, and dropped classes will receive a “W” grade with no tuition reduction.
