  2. The last day to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA) for Spring 2026 is Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
  3. Spring 2026 registration begins on Tuesday, November 5, 2025, and students should check their my.SDSU Financial Account for the payment deadline.
  4. Applications for spring or summer 2026 graduation (undergraduate and graduate) open on Tuesday, November 5, 2025.
  5. Basic tuition and fee payments are accepted starting Wednesday, November 6, 2025.
  6. New Year’s Day is observed on Wednesday, January 1, 2026, and the campus is closed.
  7. The maximum undergraduate registration increases from 18 units to 21 units on Monday, January 13, 2026; enrollment over 21 units requires academic advisor approval.
  8. The first day of the Spring 2026 semester is Wednesday, January 15, 2026.
  9. Tuition and fees for non-resident, out-of-state, international, and professional program students are due on Thursday, January 16, 2026.
  10. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is observed on Monday, January 19, 2026, and the campus is closed.
  11. The last day to officially withdraw for a full refund is Monday, January 19, 2026.
  12. The first day of classes is Tuesday, January 20, 2026; late registration fees apply, and refunds for withdrawals are prorated starting this date.
  13. The Course Repeat Petition submission deadline is Monday, January 26, 2026.
  14. The waitlist closes on Monday, January 26, 2026, and auto-enrollment from waitlists ends.

SDSU Academic Calendar Fall 2025

  1. The Fall 2025 class schedule becomes available on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
  2. Student registration appointments for Fall 2025 become available in my.SDSU on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, and students may begin adding courses to their shopping carts.
  3. The Aztec Scholarships application opens to students for the 2025–2026 academic year on Monday, March 10, 2025.
  4. The California state aid priority filing deadline is Wednesday, April 2, 2025; students must submit their 2025–2026 FAFSA or California Dream Act Application (CADAA) by this date.
  5. The final day for continuing students to meet the Current Student Early Action Deadline in Aztec Scholarships is Friday, April 4, 2025, by 11:59 p.m.
  6. Registration for Fall 2025 begins on Monday, April 14, 2025, and students must review the my.SDSU Financial Account tile for their payment deadline.
  7. Applications for Fall 2025 graduation with a bachelor’s or advanced degree open on Monday, April 14, 2025.
  8. Beginning in June 2025, continuing students who submitted a 2025–2026 FAFSA or CADAA with no pending documents can view their Fall 2025–Spring 2026 financial aid eligibility in my.SDSU.

  14. On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, the maximum number of undergraduate registration units increases from 18 units to 21 units; students requesting more than 21 units must receive academic advisor approval.

  21. Classes for Fall 2025 begin on Monday, August 25, 2025. It is the first day of classes for SDSU Students.
  22. A late registration fee of $50 is applied to students who begin enrolling in courses on or after Monday, August 25, 2025.
  23. Labor Day is observed on Monday, September 1, 2025; the campus is closed.
  24. The deadline for submitting Course Repeat Petitions is Monday, September 1, 2025.
  25. Waitlists close on Monday, September 1, 2025; students will no longer be auto-enrolled after this date.
  26. From Tuesday, September 2, 2025, through Monday, September 8, 2025, students may enroll in classes only with a permission number.
  27. The administrative drop deadline for non-attendance or missing prerequisites is Thursday, September 4, 2025.

  44. The final day of instruction for the Fall 2025 semester is Thursday, December 11, 2025.

  46. Final examinations are held from Friday, December 12, 2025, through Thursday, December 18, 2025.
