Northeastern Academic Calendar 2025-2026: Important Dates

The Northeastern Academic Calendar 2025–2026 is the authoritative roadmap for all Northeastern important dates, from semester start and end dates, course add/drop and census deadlines, to Orientation, Reading Week(s), and final-exam periods.

Northeastern’s North American campus follows a semester calendar for most graduate and undergraduate programs (two main semesters of 15 weeks each), with additional special/session blocks and summer options to support accelerated and co-op scheduling.

Because Northeastern’s signature co-op program and some professional/online deliveries use alternate session formats (College of Professional Studies offers quarter/expanded term options and specific co-op/term deadlines), planning around co-op placement windows and program-specific calendars is essential.

Students should check both the central Registrar calendar and their college’s calendar pages for co-op start/end windows and enrollment cutoffs.

Northeastern Academic Calendar Fall 2025

4. Labor Day will be observed in the United States, and no classes will be held on Monday, September 1, 2025.
