  3. The registration period for currently enrolled, readmitted degree-seeking students, and veteran students runs from Monday, October 6, 2025, to Wednesday, December 31, 2025, with new graduate students registering on Monday, December 8, 2025.
  4. The insurance waiver period for Spring/Summer term health insurance runs from Saturday, October 11, 2025, to Thursday, January 1, 2026.
  5. The last day for community college and FSU students to submit Spring 2026 transient applications is Monday, December 1, 2025.
  6. Charges and enrollment for Spring/Summer-term student health insurance post on Monday, December 1, 2025, for students who have not submitted their insurance waiver for spring.

  14. The fourth day of the term falls on Monday, January 12, 2026, which is also the last day to add a class without the academic dean’s permission, cancel enrollment and have fees removed, drop or add classes and have fees adjusted, and the deadline at 11:59 p.m., after which students become liable for all remaining class fees.

The fifth day of the term falls on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, which is also the last day to submit waivers or billings, request VA deferments, submit documentation for financial aid disbursement, apply for financial aid deferments and delayed delivery loans, and the date on which all financial aid students must check their status at my.fsu.edu.
  16. The Spring 2026 graduation application period runs from Wednesday, January 14, 2026, to Friday, January 30, 2026.

  18. Tuition and fee payment is due on Friday, January 16, 2026, which is also the last day to pay or defer tuition without a $100 late payment fee for all students, including veterans not using a deferment.
  19. Martin Luther King Jr. Day is observed on Monday, January 19, 2026, with no classes and the university closed.
  20. Non-payment-of-tuition scheduled cancellations are processed on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, for students without a tuition deferment.
  21. The last day to apply for Spring 2026 graduation is Friday, January 30, 2026.
  22. Financial aid deferments expire on Friday, February 13, 2026, which is also the final payment deadline for installment contracts.

The end of the seventh week of the term falls on Friday, February 20, 2026, which is also the last day to submit an S/U grading request or revert to a regular grade, reduce course load without dean’s permission, drop a class without receiving a grade, withdraw from the university without receiving a grade, complete the doctoral preliminary examination for adding or converting dissertation hours, and the date on which the Summer/Fall-term insurance waiver window opens.

  27. Residence halls close for the Florida State University Spring Break Week at noon on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
  28. FSU Spring Break 2026 runs from Monday, March 16, 2026, to Friday, March 20, 2026, with classes not in session but the university remaining open. Residence halls reopen at noon on Sunday, March 22, 2026. Classes resume on Monday, November 23, 2026.
  29. The last day to submit post-defense, final-content-approved theses, dissertations, or treatises and required forms is Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
  30. The end of the twelfth week of the term falls on Friday, April 3, 2026, which is also the deadline for late drops requiring the academic dean’s permission.
  31. The last day of classes is Friday, April 24, 2026, which is also the last day to petition for a reduced course load, officially withdraw from the university, apply for an AA degree, and the date on which veterans’ deferments expire, and full payment must be received to avoid a late fee.
