Share

The CCNY Academic Calendar 2025‑2026 is your essential guide to every important term date and deadline from admissions and registration windows, tuition payment deadlines, and add/drop periods, to campus holidays, course withdrawal cut-offs, and final exam schedules.

The City College of New York follows a traditional semester model, plus a short Winter Session and extended Summer sessions:

  • Fall Semester: spans about 16 weeks, including orientation, instructional weeks, mid-term breaks (e.g., Indigenous Peoples’ Day), and finals.
  • Spring Semester: similarly structured with 16 weeks, beginning mid-winter and featuring Spring Break in early April.
  • Winter Session: a 3–4 week intensive term bridging the two regular semesters, ideal for accelerated or makeup courses.
  • Summer Sessions: a flexible array, including one extended-term session (12 weeks) and multiple short sessions (around 6 weeks each), each with distinct registration, add/drop, and billing deadlines.

This CCNY Academic Calendar is organized in the Registrar’s portal by season (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall), with fully specified schedules for each term.
