  1. The initial Fall registration begins on Monday, April 13, 2026.

  3. The New School Fall 2026 Move-in takes place from Friday, August 21, 2026, through Saturday, August 22, 2026.
  4. Orientation takes place from Sunday, August 23, 2026, through Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
  5. Welcome Week takes place from Wednesday, August 26, 2026, through Saturday, August 29, 2026.
  6. The first day of classes is Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
  7. The Labor Day holiday, during which the university is closed, takes place from Saturday, September 5, 2026, through Monday, September 7, 2026.
  8. The last day of the add/drop period, the Pell recalculation date, and the deadline to waive health insurance for full-term courses is Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
  9. The withdrawal period for full-term courses begins on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
  10. Census takes place on Friday, October 2, 2026.
  11. The initial Spring registration begins on Monday, November 2, 2026.
  12. The last day to withdraw from full-term courses is Tuesday, November 17, 2026.

  4. The Independence Day holiday, during which the university is closed and there are no classes, takes place on Sunday, July 4, 2027, and on Monday, July 5, 2027.
  5. The last day of classes and the official last day of the term is Sunday, August 15, 2027.
