  4. Fall Welcome takes place from Thursday, August 27, 2026, through Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
  5. Advising Days take place from Monday, August 31, 2026, through Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
  6. WMU Fall 2026 classes begin at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. It is the first day of classes.
  7. Labor Day is observed on Monday, September 7, 2026.
  8. The last day to drop or add classes and the census date is Thursday, September 10, 2026.
  9. A $100 late add fee begins on Friday, September 11, 2026.
  10. Withdrawals with a final grade of “W” begin being recorded on transcripts on Friday, September 11, 2026.
  11. Tuition and fees are due on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.
  12. The last day to withdraw from your entire class schedule and receive a 100% tuition refund is Wednesday, September 16, 2026.
  13. The last day to withdraw part of your class schedule and receive a 100% tuition refund is Thursday, September 10, 2026.
  14. The last day to withdraw from your entire class schedule and receive a 50% tuition refund is Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
  15. Midterm grades are due on Monday, October 19, 2026.
  16. WMU Fall Break 2026 takes place from Wednesday, October 21, 2026, through Friday, October 23, 2026.
  17. The last day to withdraw from classes is Monday, November 2, 2026.
  18. WMU Thanksgiving Break begins at noon on Wednesday, November 25, 2026.
  19. Final examination week takes place from Monday, December 14, 2026, through Thursday, December 17, 2026.
  20. The Fall 2026 semester ends on Saturday, December 19, 2026.
  21. Fall 2026 Commencement takes place on Saturday, December 19, 2026.

  5. Spring 2027 classes begin at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, January 11, 2027.
  6. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Convocation and Activities take place on Monday, January 18, 2027.
  7. The last day to drop or add classes and the census date is Tuesday, January 19, 2027.
  8. A $100 late add fee begins on Wednesday, January 20, 2027.
  9. Withdrawals with a final grade of “W” begin being recorded on transcripts on Wednesday, January 20, 2027.
  10. Tuition and fees are due on Monday, January 25, 2027.
  11. The last day to withdraw from your entire class schedule and receive a 100% tuition refund is Monday, January 25, 2027.
  12. The last day to withdraw from your entire class schedule and receive a 50% tuition refund is Monday, February 8, 2027.

  4. Classes for Summer I begin at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, May 10, 2027.
  5. Tuition and fees for Summer I are due on Monday, May 10, 2027.
  6. The last day to drop or add Summer I classes, and the census date are Monday, May 17, 2027.
  7. The last day to withdraw from your entire Summer I class schedule and receive a 100% tuition refund is Monday, May 17, 2027.
  8. A $100 late add fee for Summer I begins on Tuesday, May 18, 2027.
