  5. CSUF Fall 2026 classes start on Saturday, August 22, 2026. It is the first day of classes.
  6. The last day students will be enrolled from the waitlist is Sunday, August 30, 2026.
  7. The last day to apply for graduation for Fall 2026 bachelor’s degree candidates is Sunday, August 30, 2026.
  8. Students are cleared from the class waitlist Monday, August 31, 2026.
  9. Department-issued registration permits to enroll in and add classes are available from Monday, August 31, 2026, through Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
  10. Labor Day is Monday, September 7, 2026. The campus is closed, and no classes are held.
  11. The mini-census date is Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
  12. The last day to enroll with a $25 late registration fee is Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
  13. The last day to add classes with a registration permit is Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

  26. Columbus Day is Monday, October 12, 2026. The campus is open, and classes are held.
  27. The last day to receive a prorated refund of mandatory fees for complete withdrawal from classes is Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

  29. The final deadline to submit a withdrawal request with a grade of “W” for a serious non-medical reason is Friday, November 13, 2026.
  30. CSUF Fall Break 2026 and Thanksgiving Break is from Monday, November 23, 2026, through Sunday, November 29, 2026. No classes are held. The campus is open from November 23 through November 25 and closed on November 26 and November 27.
  31. The final deadline to submit a withdrawal request with a grade of “W” for medical reasons is Friday, December 4, 2026.
  32. The last day of classes is Friday, December 11, 2026.
  33. Semester examinations are from Saturday, December 12, 2026, through Friday, December 18, 2026.
  34. The effective date of graduation for students completing degree requirements is Friday, December 18, 2026.
  35. Winter Recess is from Friday, December 25, 2026, through Sunday, January 3, 2027. The campus is closed.
  36. Fall 2026 grades are due by noon on Monday, January 4, 2027.
  37. Fall 2026 grades are available through TITAN Online as they are processed beginning Monday, January 4, 2027.

  2. Winter Recess is from Friday, December 25, 2026, through Friday, January 1, 2027. The campus is closed.
  3. New Year’s Holiday is Friday, January 1, 2027. The campus is closed.
  4. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is Monday, January 18, 2027. The campus is closed.
  5. The last day of Winter Session classes is Friday, January 22, 2027.
  6. Winter Session grades are due on Friday, January 29, 2027.

CSUF Academic Calendar Spring 2027

  1. The deadline to apply for graduation to receive priority registration for Spring 2027 is Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
  2. The semester begins Thursday, January 21, 2027.
  3. The first day of classes is Saturday, January 23, 2027.
  4. Presidents’ Day is Monday, February 15, 2027. The campus is closed.
  5. CSUF Spring Break 2027 is from Monday, March 29, 2027, through Sunday, April 4, 2027. No classes are held, and the campus is open except on Wednesday, March 31, 2027. Farmworkers Day formerly known as cesar chavez day is Wednesday, March 31, 2027. The campus is closed. Classes resume Monday, April 5, 2027.
